When you spend time making something with your two hands, you impart love in a way that buying never can.
— Natalie Chanin

I am a seamstress, designer, tailor, instructor, and artist with a focus on quality, sustainability, and tradition. I studied Norwegian Folk Textiles in Telemark, Norway, and have a degree in Embroidered Textile Design from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland. I draw much inspiration from my Norwegian culture, and seek to continue its rich legacy of textile craft.

In an age of poorly designed and badly made clothes, I take pride in my ability to create quality garments and to alter or repair existing garments so that they fit the human form and can enjoy a prolonged lifetime.

I operate a small business in Port Townsend, WA, where I take custom orders for anything that needs to be sewn, altered, repaired, or designed. I also am available to teach private lessons in sewing, knitting, embroidery, spinning, weaving, and drawing.
